Valentine’s Day Carpet Cleaning Tips –

Valentine’s Day is just around the corner!

Just maybe you are planning a romantic night out or even just a quiet night at home, sharing your favorite homemade meal by candlelight or watching your favorite romantic movies while snuggled up on the couch.

Whatever plans you and your sweetheart may have, rest assured we have the best Valentine’s Day clean up tips!

Chocolate:

To remove chocolate from furniture or carpeting requires nothing more than an ice cube. Hold the ice over the chocolate until it is solid, and gently scrape with the edge of a spoon. When most the chocolate is gone blot gently with cold water.

Candle Wax:

When the wax is solid, simply pick off the large clumps and scrape away what you can with a plastic knife. Next, you will need an iron and a clean, white cloth. Place the cloth

over the wax and iron. Continue moving the cloth around, careful to only iron the clean cloth and avoid spreading the wax. Soon the wax will be as good as gone.

Keep in mind if the candle is colored (red, blue, black) the color or tint may remain.

Red Wine:

Immediately soak up excess wine with a cloth, then rinse well with white wine or club soda and cold water. Do not rub excessively, try to only blot.

Bolden’s is always here to help with those extra stubborn stains! Have a Happy Valentine’s Day!

The Gift that keeps on Giving

What if you could give the gift of clean air? That would be something else, wouldn’t it?

Imagine giving a gift that keeps on making a difference with every single breath they take!

I’m sure that sounds too good to be true, but trust me, it’s not. You really can give the gift of clean air.

The complete cleaning process includes all the ducts in your home along with all related HVAC components.

There are tons of benefits to taking advantage of this service. Studies show, for example, that up to 40 pounds of dust can accumulate in an average-sized home every year. Then, it gets recirculated back through your HVAC system, and the problem can just get worse.

A good duct and HVAC system cleaning can also help save you money, because your system’s not going to have to work so hard when it is running clean. So, you can also think about an air duct cleaning as being about equivalent to giving the gift of cash. And everyone likes a gift of cash, don’t they?

If you are really feeling ambitious, you can also get the Bolden’s technician to clean your dryer duct while they are doing everything else. Lint and other contaminants can accumulate in your dryer duct, weakening its performance.

So, to summarize, giving the gift of air duct cleaning from Bolden’s means you are giving the following:

• Clean Air
• Peace of mind

Cash

With all that and more, what are you waiting for?

Should it stay or should it go?

Spring cleaning is on our heals, so lets briefly talk about the option to clean or replace your carpet.

Consider Carpet Cleaning if:

  • Stains are superficial

  • Carpet shows no signs of damage

  • Carpet is free of stains from biohazards (you can call us to find out if it is

candidate for cleaning or recommendation for replacement)

Consider Carpet Replacement if:
  • Carpet is showing signs of deterioration/delamination

  • There are stains set in the carpet/pad that professional cleaning cannot get out

  • There are biohazard waste stains in the carpet/pad
